    2014 Tax Bills are in the mail.
    More than 130,000 property tax statements should arrive in Lubbock county residents' mailboxes this week. Tax bills were mailed beginning October 21st. The combined statements include 2014 property taxes due for all taxing units in Lubbock County. Property owners are encouraged to check the accuracy of all information on their tax bill. If you own property in Lubbock County and have not received your bill by the end of October, please contact the Lubbock Central Appraisal District to verify your account information and avoid possible delinquency.

    Filing for a Homestead Exemption
    If you are contacted by a company offering to file your homestead exemption for a "one-time processing fee" DO NOT respond. There is NEVER a fee to file for any exemption. Contact our office to see if you qualify for a homestead exemption.
