| Appraisal Notices | | Appraisal notices have been mailed for residential single family properties that; the market value increased by more than $100, the address and/or ownership changed since 01/01/2012, or the property value was rendered by the property owner. Appraisal notices for other property types will be sent out during April and May. Regardless of when you receive your notice you will always have 30 days from the date the notice was mailed to protest your property value. You may also protest your property if you do not receive a notice. The deadline to protest if you do not receive a notice is May 31st.

| Business Personal Property Renditions | | Renditions have been mailed to all business personal property accounts. The deadline for filing your rendition is April 15th. The rendition form is available on our website. If you did not receive a rendition, have questions, or need additional information contact our office.

| Photographs and Building Footprints | | Effective Aug 30th, 2005 the Lubbock Central Appraisal District website will no longer display photographs and building footprints for all residential property. In accordance with Senate Bill 541, as passed by the Texas Legislature, information in appraisal records may not be posted on the Internet if the information is a photograph, sketch, or floor plan of an improvement to real property that is designed primarily for use as a human residence.
