Appraisal notices have been mailed for residential single family properties that; the market value increased by more than $100, the address and/or ownership changed since 01/01/2014, or the property value was rendered by the property owner. Appraisal notices for other property types will be sent out during April and May. Regardless of when you receive your notice you will always have 30 days from the date the notice was mailed to protest your property value. You may also protest your property if you do not receive a notice. The deadline to protest if you do not receive a notice is June 1, 2015. See Appraisal Notice Information under Other for additional important information.
